All the museums are in the center of town and can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
By bus
Take bus lines 1, 4, 6 or 10 (station: "Freihofsplatz").
By car

Information for visitors with disabilities:
Parking: two handicapped parking spaces at the Schlossplatz (50 meters). Parking garage Stadthalle (8 handicapped spaces, open non-stop, 250 meters).
Entrance can only be reached by steps.
The floor-by-floor circuit through the Abbey Museum is only partially wheelchair accessible (and not suitable for electric wheelchairs). On the second floor, two exhibition rooms can be reached via ramp and the narthex of the Abbey church. The remaining rooms are accessible only with difficulty due to narrow passages and occasional steps between the rooms. The third floor cannot be reached by wheelchair at the present time.
The Museums of the City of Aschaffenburg are making efforts to make all narrow passages and barriers in the historic buildings accessible to visitors with disabilities in the coming years. We thank you for your understanding that this has not yet been possible in all locations.
