Christian-Schad-Stiftung Aschaffenburg
In 2002 Bettina Schad founded the Christian-Schad-Stiftung Aschaffenburg (Christian Schad Foundation Aschaffenburg). The collection consists of over 3,200 works, which will soon be displayed in the heart of the historical city of Aschaffenburg in a continuously varying selection and in a range unique throughout the world.
The Christian Schad Foundation in Aschaffenburg researches, presents, and – in a targeted way – acquires Schad’s works. It publishes the catalogue raisonné, made up of five volumes, in German and English and supports international research and exhibition projects.
